Artisan Herringbone, Collection

We built the Artisan range around one idea: that herringbone should feel crafted, not manufactured. Every board is wire-brushed by hand to open the oak's natural texture, then finished in either a brushed lacquer or hard wax oil depending on the tone. The result is a floor that looks as though it's always been there.

The six colourways run from the warm amber of Crafted Golden Oak through to the cool Nordic restraint of Scandi Oak, with Hot Chocolate and Natural French Oak offering the mid-tones most rooms actually need. Light Cotton and Natural Champagne are our picks for south-facing rooms where you want the light to bounce rather than absorb.

Engineered on a 15-ply birch base, the Artisan boards are dimensionally stable enough for underfloor heating and solid enough to sand and refinish once over their lifetime. We'd call this our most versatile herringbone — it performs in a Victorian terrace as well as a new-build extension.
