Every board has a forest.
We source exclusively from FSC-certified mills in Central and Eastern Europe — primarily Austria, Germany, and Croatia. Every batch of timber is traceable to the forest it grew in.
Responsibly managed, fully traceable.
FSC 100% certification means the wood comes from responsibly managed forests. No old-growth logging. For every tree harvested, more are planted. Chain-of-custody documentation is available on request.
We work with three verified mill partners, each audited annually. Their forests are walked by our team before we commit to a supply agreement — and we revisit every year.
No polystyrene. Ever.
Recycled cardboard. No polystyrene. Pallets are reclaimed and returned. Offcut timber is donated to local woodworking schools.
We've spent time finding packaging that protects the product without filling your skip with foam. It costs us a little more. We think it's worth it.
Honest about the footprint.
We don't claim to be carbon-neutral — the honest truth is that shipping heavy materials has a footprint. What we do: consolidate shipments, use UK-based finishing where possible, and offer a tree-planting contribution at checkout.
We believe transparency is more useful than greenwashing. If you'd like to see the breakdown of a specific product's journey, get in touch — we'll walk you through it.
